Listen To Bob Dylan Cover Leonard Cohen’s “Dance Me To The End of Love” Montreal (10/29/23)

Life has kept me busy of late and so I haven’t been following Dylan’s most recent tour that closely. I know he’s been covering songs that relate to the towns he has been playing in. Last night he covered Leonard Cohen and I just had to listen. It’s pretty great.

  1. A Wonderful tribute.- “They are much more than songs. They’re prayers,” Dylan once said of Cohen’s work.

  2. I was there! The crowd went nuts. Otherwise, the show was pretty much the same as many of others. A really good show, the band was incredible, and Dylan’s piano was perfect–but overall these shows have been much more structured and set than other iterations of the neverending tour. Really interesting to see how the Sinatra years have changed and refined what Bob was doing.

    1. That’s awesome. It has definitely been interesting to see how his tours change and how much has stayed the same over the last few years. I really dig that he’s been adding in a new song on many nights.

But I also get that the man is over 80 years old. He has more than paid his dues. If I can do half the things he’s doing at his age I’ll consider myself lucky.
