OldNeumanntapr Notes:
This was a show that I went to with my friend Dave, and my friend Linda from work. I drove my ’91 F150 from SLO Country to Santa Cruz and back, after the show. I bought a Hot Tuna T shirt that was blue tie died with a Hot Tuna logo that I had for years until it finally disintegrated from too much use. I remember that this show I saw Jorma sitting at the bar in the Catalyst when we came in, and considered briefly asking him for recording privileges, but elected instead to go stealth. In the 80s and very early 90s Jorma, and Hot Tuna, were very taping friendly, but that changed later on. I believe that it’s always better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission, especially if permission is not granted! I remember that I sent this recording to Mike at ‘TunaBase’ years later because he didn’t have a recording from this show. Always glad to help! 🙂
