This was the second of two Phil shows that I saw in a row at the Greek. It’s a beautiful amphitheater, but driving in Berkeley is NUTS! Les Claypool and the Flying Frog Brigade was one of the opening bands this weekend. I recorded that set but I don’t think it ever got transferred. I decided that I wasn’t a big Les Claypool fan. I really liked hearing Warren Haynes play and sign with Phil. I went to these two shows with my friend Taper Ron, who I first met at the Saturday Grateful Dead show at Shoreline on 10/3/87. Party on, Ron!
