This is an important show for both Dylan and Warren Zevon fans, because when Zevon got terminal cancer in his lungs (mesothelioma), Dylan started covering 2 or 3 or even 4 Zevon songs in Dylan’s shows.This was the one show where it’s confirmed Zevon was in the audience. His health was so poor by then, he apparently didn’t remain the whole show.But even though Zevon did die 11 months later, he had the very memorable quote during that time that hearing Dylan cover his songs night after night “almost made it all worthwhile.”
