Right on! What a song, man, what a song. I remember Dylan – or maybe Keith Richards? – saying this song wasn’t written in any formal sense, it just floated down from heaven fully formed.
In high school I bought Van’s Greatest Hits and absolutely love it. But for whatever reason I didn’t dig into his catalog until years later. I randomly downloaded “Tupelo Honey” off of Napster and from there on I was hooked.
