Nobody Sings Dylan Like Dylan, Vol. 31: I Left My Mind Behind

It’s been a little over a year since I did one of these, so there was lots to choose from. Three songs here are new to the series: “Dignity,” “Goin’ To Acapulco,” and “Standing in the Doorway.” Plenty of new artists too. This one goes out to the blogger at Music Ruined My Life, who has been making the series available in MP3.

As always, a big thanks to the tapers, the original uploaders, the nice folks who’ve sent me recordings, the fine artists who’ve created cover artwork, and especially the performers and composer. Due to the many different sources, I am not including lineages. I have done nothing to the original files but normalize the levels and fade in and out on each track (using Cool Edit). If you’ve got something good that deserves consideration for future volumes, PM me.

NOTE: Lots of people ask me for past volumes in the series. If you are able to re-upload past volumes, please do! And if you’re willing to trade past volumes, please put a note in the comments section so the needy can get in touch. Thanks, Jeff

Nobody Sings Dylan Like Dylan, Vol. 32: Tales of Dark Heat and Vain Love

In celebration of Mr. Dylan’s return to Dime, here’s a Street Legal edition of NSD. I send this out with a warm thank you to Chopen, who has reposted the missing volumes of the series both here and at HC.
