“It’s a Beatnik Love Poetry Moment”

Recorded from Row NN, Sec 4R.
I attended the show and on a whim recorded it on my android smartphone.
This recording is single channel – monaural.

HTC Rezound Android Smartphone > EasyVoiceRecorder App > 16bit 44kHz Mono WAV > Audacity Peak Compressor > CD Wave > FLAC

Fully lossless. This recording captures Neil’s performance quite well.

location: just right of center 2nd row of loge

We had amazing seats just barely right of center 2nd row of the loge!
Great people around us who were not talking much at all. I’ve given the first
souce a listen and I think this one is much cleaner, without chatter, and
sonicly superior. But hey, I’m biased! Maybe not superior but different.
I haven’t listen to dirtrider’s source yet. Although there are minor level adjustment
at the begining of each set, I’d consider it an A recording. The final tune was from
his first band The Squires, circa 1965 or so, supposedly it has never been played
live before, Enjoy.

Recieved this from a very reputable taper on Rust last night at the Wallingford show. He asked if I could pot it onto dime for him. I did not get the details from him about his equipment (not that I would understand it) but he was in the 3rd row, center. I did listen to disc 2 on the way home last night and was quite pleased. I’ve gotten alot of shows over the years form this taper so I know you all will appreciate his work as well.
