NOTES-
Last but not least. Sorry for the delay, life gets in the way sometimes. This one took some care as there was some noise (and still is at loud volumes) in the interview and readings at times so I tried to minimize those as best as I could. Its much improved from the master.
My brother had a great trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland. He recorded all 4 shows that Van performed that week (his idea!!). The 17th, 18th, 19th and 21st were all performed at the Culloden Resort, which is a stunning place. This is the last of the 4 nights he played and featured a unique program with a live interview of Van, some readings of his songs and then Van playing a short set
with the full band at the end. For his first real taping adventure, he did extremely well.
The shows were small, 300 or so, in a dinner ballroom type setting. A beautiful room. This literary finale was great fun, although why someone didnít immediately fix the distortion that resulted from Vanís drooping mic rubbing against his suit and collar is beyond me (interview). Nice surprises all night long. The cherry on top!
Merry Late Christmas and Happy New Year everyone. Enjoy!
