here’s a really nice recording of the band from one of richard manuel’s last shows. they played a few nights at the lone star cafe in nyc and i had the pleasure of attending a couple nights. it was a blast seeing them in such a small venue. i didn’t make the recording but got it directly from the guy that did. it’s an excellent sb from the late show on feb. 6,1986. i understand that most of the shows from that week are around in similar quality but this is the only one i have. as a bonus, steve winwood, who was in town working on his own project, sits in on the last song but don’t get too excited about that since you can barely tell he’s there. i’ve seen this listed as feb. 8 but i’m going with the master source on this. as always, all info is in the file.

I picked this up a while back from DAD and found it to be an incredible recording from Hag.  I did remove the commercials from this pre-FM source though, and if anyboby really needs some commercials of Pat Sumarall shilling for Ace hardware, well you’ll need to look elsewhere because they are NOT here
