Notes:
JEMS master recording.
This show from the 3rd leg of The Who’s 75-76 North American Tour was recorded
by the ‘S’ in JEMS. It is Keith Moon’s last U.S. performance, and he was in
great form this night, and high in the mix! This show also features a early
‘Who Are You’ improvisation during My Generation. The master tape was missing
about 55 seconds towards the end of Won’t Get Fooled Again (reel change!) This
version includes a patched version, and the orginal incomplete version of Won’t
Get Fooled Again.

Notes:
JEMS master recording. Mono but excellent+ sounding recording.

This show from the 2nd leg of The Who’s 75-76 North American Tour was recorded by the ‘S’ in JEMS. A unfortunate tape problem results in a missing segment of the show from midway through See Me, Feel Me to part way into My Generation. What remains of the show though, is great despite Roger having the flu. Pete and Keith pick up the slack!

Thank you! All right, this is a love ballad I wrote a few years back about three people who are in love with each other,
all at the same time. (before Tangled Up In Blue)

Thank you. We’re gonna take a break right here for a short time. Anyway, I wrote this song not too long ago in Chihuahua,
Mexico. (before SeÒor (Tales Of Yankee Power))

This is a song I wrote not so long ago for an album called Street-Legal. Called Journey Through Dark Heat.

All right, ladies and gentlemen, on the drums tonight, give him a warm hand Ian Wallace. On the bass guitar, Jerry Scheff.
On the keyboards, from South Philadelphia, the one and only Alan Pasqua. On the lead guitar, the oldest member of this group,
born in 1921, Austin, Texas. Ladies and gentlemen, Billy Cross! The youngest, the youngest member of this group, over here,
playing the violin and the mandolin. Doesn’t smoke dope, doesn’t drink whiskey, chase women, doesn’t know what any of it is.
Ladies and gentlemen David Mansfield. He’s learning though! On the rhythm guitar, from Bogota, Colombia,
doesn’t speak any English, but he plays his heart out. He gave up a career as a sports car driver to join this band.
Ladies and gentlemen, Steven Soles. On the tenor saxophone, the phenomenal Steve Douglas.

All right, on the backup vocals tonight, my ex-girlfriend on the right is from Seattle, Washington,
went to a school called “Bring You A Bitch School”, Jo Ann Harris. I met her in Cincinatti.
In the middle, my current girlfriend Helena Springs, give her a big hand. On the end, my fiancÈe, Miss Carolyn Dennis.
All right, on the conga drums, from Detroit, the most amazing Miss Bobbye Hall.
All right, we’re gonna play a few more songs and get out of here. This is called It’s Alright Ma, I’m Only Bleeding.

Thank you very much, you’ve been a great crowd. So, we’re gonna go now, I hope we played something right tonight.
All right. (before Forever Young)
