Alright, consider this an unofficial comeback. I’m still pondering the ins and outs of what I’m trying to do, but I was itching to get back into posting shows. Tentatively I’ve decided to go ahead and keep this site. I’m gonna slow way the crap down though. I’m thinking I’ll post one, maybe two shows a week. I will also continue to post to Facebook and Tumblr. The Facebook page will still keep up with what I post here and I’ll try to continue to link to other bootleg blogs and any bootleg/live music things of interest I find on the Internet. I’m gonna try to keep Facebook focused on the live music world without and leave out all the other pop culture bits.
The Tumblr blog will also have the boots I post here, plus lots of other bootleg related things, but I’m going to continue posting all the other pop culture stuff that I’m interested in as well. I think this should satisfy everyone, including myself.
That sounds like a lot I know. But I’m working on keeping all of this fun and mostly stress free. As I’ve mentioned before the pop culture stuff is what I do anyways and posting it to Tumblr is super simple. I don’t feel any real pressure to keep it going everyday so when I’m busy then its no big deal to let it slide until I feel interested in posting more stuff. Ditto Facebook. If I can keep myself to posting only a couple of times here a week then I think we’ll be good.
Maybe. This is all transitory. I may change my mind in a couple of weeks, but for the moment I think this will work.

I’d like to say that with the new slow down I’ll be able to listen to the boots and review them. I’d like to say that, but in reality that likely won’t happen. I just don’t have the ability to really listen to these shows enough to give them a full review. I’ll try to listen when I can and say what I can, but mostly I’ll probably still just post without comment. You guys are awesome at commenting anyways that you don’t need me.
That being said I’ll make a small comment here to say this is a decent sounding audience. About on par with some of the other 78 auds I’ve heard. Someone has done some fiddling with it to drown out the crowd noise and amp up the music, but it still sounds like Bob’s playing in a room a few doors down. Definitely listenable though, especially with earphones.

You’ll notice I’m using Mediafire again. I always loved that site. It worked super well for me as an uploader and was really fast as a downloader. Of course they deleted all of my shows without warning awhile back but I’m ready to forgive them for that. I’ve created a new account with them and I have a different IP address so hopefully we won’t run into trouble. Part of the forgiveness comes from realizing that every site out there screws with guys like me so I don’t really have a lot of choices. I hope you guys dig Mediafire too.
