Thanks so much for this – great band, great show! (Despite Mr Gere’s best sabotage attempts…) Thanks yet again for feeding the Van habit…
The sound of this concert is amazing and that’s probablv the best version of Moondance I’ve heard !
Hi Matt,
Many heartfelt thanks for posting the last two great Van shows. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. One can simply never get enough of Van.
Best wishes to you and your family.
The real question is – What on earth was John Lee doing in Brighton ( a Victorian seaside resort on the south coast of England) in ’94!! A long long way from home and well into his San Francisco semi-retirement of the 90s.
Also why the **** wasn’t I there??
Having been fortunate enough to catch my all time favourite blues artist live on 3 occasions in the period 86-91, by ’94 I had pretty much given up on the possibility of ever seeing him perform again. To think he was playing with Van just a train/bus ride away!!
Gotta track this one down in lossless methinks
Thanks Mat
Thanks so much for this Mat, can’t wait to hear it!
Looks like an amazing show with some special guests. I’ll have to give this one a listen. Thanks very much Mat 🙂
