1/21/80 Denver

version “c”
Mono audience recording.
Clearly an above-average show. Solid recording from an above-average seat.
A bit harsh sounding, maybe because of a consumer-grade sound card.
Complete except for opening act, and tape runout at the end of “Covenant Woman”.

This comes from a previous seed here in November 2004. It has been
repitched and converted from binaural to mono. I used no EQ or hiss-reduction.
Use your tone controls for custom adjustments, of course.

Seeded on Dime Feb 2006. Please do not reseed elsewhere without this info file
and all relevant comments.

bittorrent download 04/12;
seeems sourced from LB-2191 with levels lowered a little and sped up;

  1. Thank you for all your Bobbie postings. I have recently looked through your BD back catalogue of postings. There are some real gems there. What a pity that some of the better ones which were posted on Megaupload and Rapidshare in 2009/10 are no longer available for download. Full credit to your continued efforts – long may they continue!!

    1. I will eventually upload all of those long lost boots to my Amazon drive and post them here. That’s a really long process that will likely take years to complete. However if there is a particular show that you would really like to hear make a comment on that post and I’ll put it closer to the front of the queue.

      It will still probably take me a few weeks to get around to it, but I will do it eventually.

  2. Cheers Mat. You’ve obviously found a rich vein of these ’81 shows to mine on our behalf.

    Keep digging, you are doing great work with these.

  3. Holy Cow, mixed metaphors and typos. Must learn not to post before lunch.

    Anyhow the comment stands equally for the 80 or 81 posts. All great stuff

    1. I’ve got quite a few more from this period to post. It seems to be an area where not as many of his shows circulate. I get why a lot of folks don’t love the Gospel years but I find them really fascinating.
