To celebrate their 15th anniversary as a band The Grateful Dead played fifteen gigs at the historic Warfield Theatre in San Francisco (which I previously posted here) followed by an eight night run at Radio City Music Hall. They played three sets each night. The first set was acoustic, something they hadn’t done since 1970, which was followed by two electric sets. They eventually released two live albums from this run, the fantastic Reckoning features songs from the acoustic sets and the quite a bit less fantastic Dead Set contains songs from the electric sets.
I have posted the entire Radio City Music Hall run and thought it would be nice to make a master post of it. I’m missing quite a few soundboard recordings from this run so if anyone has access to them I’d appreciate an assist. I tried to remove all the official tracks from the soundboard recordings that I do have, but generally kept them in on the audience recordings.
