This was received by me in trade as a CD-R in the early 2000s as the ì1983-12-29 EARLY SHOW Great American Music Hall, San Francisco, Californiaî, which IT IS NOT, although the setlist does match what is (inaccurately) noted at Setlist.com and Vanomatic for the 1983-12-29 early show. All the tracks flow into each other (no edits/cuts) with the exceptions of a brief gap/silence after Amazing Grace [Instrumental], Higher Than The World, and Summertime In England.
The total show time = 67:01. It is quite likely that John Allairís opening song ìGo To The High Place In Your Mindî is missing from this mystery show.
What makes me think that this show is from December 1983 is the inclusion of an instrumental version of ìAmazing Graceî, which is noted among collectors as having only been performed at San Franciscoís Great American Music Hall for 4 shows on 1983-12-28 and 1983-12-29 (see extensive notes below).
If anyone is able to definitively ID this show it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone can share the 1983-12-28 early and late shows those would be most welcome!
