RIP John Prine. Honour his memory by purchasing official releases and merchandise.
Please pass on in a lossless format only; reserve mp3 and other degrades for your own use exclusively.
D o not profit in any material way from this recording.
Superb performance by Prine and band; if you are considering your first investigation of Prine’s oeuvre, here is an excellent place to begin. Thanks and appreciation are owed the recordist, of whose name I am unaware, for the superb source recording; the vocals and instruments are clear and distinct. Torrent has applause in balance and is a fresh transfer from my clone. Therefore it will differ from previous uploads of this performance, if any.
Fault: Very minor and infrequent usual audience interference which might even add to the atmosphere.
I believe that Damon Ritter recorded this. I traded with Damon back in the 90s and he was the taper who used to talk about ‘parallel backups’ = trading with as many people as you can, so that if something happens to YOUR copy of a show, you can get it back.
