This show is another from the collection of Smores’ who is working to get many old shows transferred and uploaded for others to enjoy.
Some of these shows are seeing the light of day after all of these years- some for the first time since they were taped!
He is currently searching for ANY Warrior Soul, Saigon Kick, Tegan and Sara, Filter, Rose Tattoo, Wildhearts, or Antigone Rising shows.
Also looking for leads to UNCIRCULATED Foo Fighters, UFO or Nine Inch Nails MASTERS. Contact him on DIME if you can help. Thanks
I was at this show, and I have an amusing story about it.
I got to the venue at the last minute, and managed to score a 4th row center seat from the box office. So far, so good. But, ugh: dude in front of me was *loud*. You know the guy. After a few songs, I leaned forward to quietly plead my case: “hey, you know tickets are expensive these days and I really want to enjoy…”
He cut me off immediately, shouted “WHO CARES?”
Ugh. Oh well. Not reaching this guy.But someone else did.
Before the next song, Neil made a point of saying that *he cares* and just generally shared his feelings about caring at live shows : ) Neil didn’t know where the guy was sitting, and couldn’t know why he shouted it, but he definitely took it personally.I’d love to get this recording, if and when it becomes available again, to relive my fantasy moment of Neil piling on the loud asshat : )
That is a great story, thanks for sharing. I saw Bruce Hornsby once at the Cain’s Ballroom which is a relatively small club and standing room only. This one woman pushed herself up to the front and starting taking video with an iPad. One of the big ones too. Completely blocked my view. It is amazing how thoughtless people can be at these things.
I just put this show in my queue to reupload. Due to various reasons it will probably be next week before I can get it up.
Thanks for uploading! I got to relive my glory moment when the guy I tried to shush got shot down by Neil himself (at the end of track 7, if you’re interested : )
That’s awesome.
