I’m working on a project and I need a little help. I’m trying to collect recordings of every Van Morrison performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival. I’ve got most of them but I’m missing a few.
I need copies of these performances:
07/19/87
07/18/07
07/09/04 – I actually have an MP3 version of this show, but I’d love to get a FLAC copy.
If any of you have any of these shows would you please share them with me?
My goal is to create a cool mix tape of the best of his performances in Montreux, but it would be nice to be able to cull from all the shows.

GREAT idea. I wish I could supply some of these! I just checked, and I do not have 07/19/87, 07/16/96, nor 07/07/97, and do have 07/09/04 but just a low-bitrate MP3 version. Dang!!
Also, it’s tantalizing to know that he’s played Montreux at least four more times than the ones I HAVE heard. I say that because as we know, Van’s Montreux shows are among his best ever – every time, he seems to bring his best to that festival.
I hope someone else can share one or more of these to help.
Yeah, his Montreux shows have always been some of my favorites. As I’m listening to them I keep asking myself how in the world I’m gonna be able to whittle the songs down to a single comp that isn’t just me posting all the show 🙂

I have one dated 7/19/97 at Montreux in the Stravinsky Auditorium. I do not have the one you listed above dated 7/7/97. I assume 7/19/97 is not the one you are looking for but wanted to check anyway.

Looks like I typoed that date. I have multiple copies of 07/19 so I’m good on that end. Thanks for the heads up though, now I can add 07/19 to my playlist.
I have a 1997 SBD but date is indicated as 07-19-1997. Is that perhaps what you are looking for?.
