  1. We last saw him in Washington in 2016. Then we moved back to Kansas City in late 2019 but too late to catch his shows that year.

I will probably go to both shows since who knows when he will be back to Kansas City or if he will tour again after 2024. I think early ticket sales are at 10 AM on the 24th so you don’t need to wait until the 25th. I heard the keyword is ROWDY, but we’ll see.

  2. I’d drive to the moon for him….still true, from Halloween night, 1964. Forever young, live forever 🙏.

      1. I was 15. Took the subway from Brooklyn to Philharmonic Hall, Lincoln Center. I’d heard his first album and had to check him out. But I had to go alone. None of my friends were remotely interested. Of course, that changed. Joan Baez appeared that night. Nobody knew about the show being released on something called the bootleg series. Next time I saw him was 1965 at Forest Hills. If there’s argument about how hostile the Newport crowd was, Forest Hills was really a rough and rowdy crowd. But a few months later, at Carnegie Hall, that all changed for the good. I’ve tried to see him as much as possible, probably about fifty shows. Always at The Beacon. Last was 2021, the remarkable R&R show. The only sadly ironic note is that many of my music friends now cannot tolerate his voice and won’t go to a show. So, just me and my loving wife. Their loss. But it kind of makes me feel like I’m fifteen again, riding the subway back to Brooklyn after seeing a performer that I knew would be with me always.

  3. You should definitely go. Who knows when or if you’ll get another chance. There’s nothing worse than thinking “if only I’d done whatever before it was too late”. Just get in the car and go.

    1. I’d really love to, just don’t have the funds. I scrounged and saved to buy my wife tickets to see Wilco next month for her birthday and there is nothing left.

I really regret not seeing him when he came to Tulsa last year, I had some cash then but other things kept me from it (including my in-laws coming to town that very night and they would have considered it rude for me to see Dylan rather than them 🙂

  4. You saw him in ’64 Vincent, wow!

I’ve seen him 19 times so far, so many great memories. If he makes one more appearance anywhere in the South, I’m there no matter what.

  5. I’ve only seen him 5 times. Really enjoyed four of them, one not so much (but that was mainly due to the venue). Can’t believe the last time was 21 years ago!
