OldNeumanntapr Notes-
I hadn’t seen / recorded Roger McGuinn since the Lobero Theatre gig in Santa Barbara in 1999. He is a great musician and a great storyteller. My friend Rick sold me his ticket at the last minute because he couldn’t attend due to his recent back surgery. I went with my friend Dave and his friend Wayne. We were in the 6th row and I was about one or maybe two seats to the right of DEAD center. I also brought my newly-acquired iPhone with me but, not knowing the camera well, I was only able to get a photo of the stage at intermission; (Which was used for the back cover for the artwork.) The photos of Roger that I shot were horribly overexposed. Fortunately, Dave brought his little point and shoot digital camera and got a good one at the encore to use for the front cover. Thanks Dave! And thanks so much to Flying M for his expert post production, and also for the great looking CD cover artwork. I couldn’t do it without you!

Enjoy! Share freely, don’t sell, play nice, don’t run with scissors, etc. 😉
Looking forward to hearing this! You don’t see many Roger solo boots. I have only seen him once, but it was quite a special show – May 11, 1988 at Uptown Lounge in Athens Ga, with 3/4 of R.E.M. backing him for the second set.
I was a UGA student at the time and somehow got in. One of the special shows I’ve ever seen.

But now, I’d like to see McGuinn again, just him – he’s so great!
Thanks for this. I’ve always enjoyed these “storyteller” type performances. Should be an interesting listen.
