– SBE’s fixed 2/9/2006
– This is the same source that this show circulates in currently, however, the show in db.etree is not from the original flacs. I traded this show out which was then burnt on a standalone, then traded away to get eac’d. Not only that, but back in 2001 I had no idea what an SBE was, therefore causing sbe’s on this show (along with a TON of other shows I was converting then).

Comments from the original uploader:
I didn’t edit this show. There is a fade at the end of d2t04. I guess this covered a tape flip? Space continues through d2t05.
I felt no need to use wavmerge to retrack the original wavs.
There are unknown cassette generations – but my guess would be one generation.

Comments: Last JGB show.

Technical issues: There are flaws with the CDR source I have for this show that I initially didn’t want to SHN it up, but because of its place in the chronological order of shows and the apparent lack of other circulating sources, people seem to be interested in checking it out, so Cie La Vie. Despite the flaws the show is highly listenable. If you have a lineaged source without the below describe flaws or fades please email me at: candymansiteop@hotmail.com.

There were fades and pauses between most songs on the masters with the intervening “crowd noise” removed. Several tracks begin with a fade in on the first note of the song so that it is clipped – darn.
d1t01 – minor digifuzz @ 05:10
d1t03 – First note of Simple Twist of Fate clipped, noise @ 00:22.
d1t07 – minor digifuzz at 00:20.
d2t01 – level changes during the 30 seconds of the recording were evened out using SF5.
d2t02 – small subsecond dropout @ 7:09 removed with SF5.

DAE (EAC0.9b4, offset corrected, secure mode) > digifuzz attenuation and dropout removal (soundforge 5) > tracking (cdwav editor) > shn (shorten 3.4) > sector boundaries confirmed (shntool) > FTP via C.Ladner/candyman FTP.

NOTE from original uploader: from Seeing The Real You At Last it seems the taper have shifted position/most likely hidden the mics a little too well. From here on in the last four tracks suffer. All previous tracks are very good/excellent; through and through tape hissy though.

No LB-number;
although there’s one at http://jokerman.org.uk/lb/detail/LB-00769.html
The little background talking is there and truly gets to the foreground on d1t7, d1t9, d2ts, d2t4, but after being encoded to SHNs and compared against LB-0769 fingerprints, to the best of my ability I couldnít find that the tracks matched its wantonly list.
