NOTES:
This set was treed @2000 via the Van-L/Van-Info/VanTrades lists. It is volume 5 in the Celtic Soul Productions series. From the tree notes of this show and knowing some of the serious collectors in the Van Morrison trading community I would guess this is likely from the master tape.

Notes/Flaws:
– A gorgeous audience recording of a characteristically sleepy early ’76 show. There are a number of minor blemishes here
and there (some noted below), but they don’t retract from the overall high quality of this recording. I looked at removing
the blemishes with Sound Forge, but most of them just weren’t visible or fixable. There is also a beautiful soundboard
(MSR>C>D>CD) of this show in light circulation, but my copy of it has lots more blemishes than this one, and it is also fairly
cut up, including missing several songs.
– d1t01 Every Word You Say pop @ 2:31.
– d1t04 Who Was John pops @ 9:30, 9:50.
– d2t02 Harder They Come tapping on mic @ start.
– d2t03 Knockin’ pop @ 9:09.
– There may be other blemishes that I failed to note.

I thought it would be nice to put these two sources together since the SBD circulates incomplete.

Intermittent left channel clapping during Rhapsody.
During the last few seconds of Mission, the tape speed increased dramatically with
a pitch offset of 1 octave. This was corrected using Soundforge 6 prior to
tracking.

Notes from the original uploader: This appears to be segments from a single show; most of the 1st Set (possibly missing an opening tune) and the final song of the 2nd set. The date is based on currently posted setlists, although this could actually be from any one of the four February ’78 Keystone shows, can’t confirm since nothing else is circulating and posted lists are not complete at this time.

A nice clear mono recording. Intermittent crackly static during Second that Emotion. Start of Simple Twist and Midnight Moonlight slightly clipped. Tape flip or gap of about a minute in Second that Emotion, crossfaded at 10:49.
