Notes:
– Set break and missing song information is from The Jerry Site, which also lists I’ll Take a Melody and Mission in the Rain in reverse order relative to what’s on these discs.
– I think this is a great upfront aud, though it could be a sbd. The main thing that makes me think it’s an aud is the occasional relatively up-close audience noise. But I am open to being corrected here. Whatever it is, it sounds pretty darn nice, though it is tightly edited and though from Melody on there is some audible versaturation/clipping.
– The performance is unbelievably relaxed and a real pleasure to listen to. Mission in the Rain strikes me as especially full and warm feeling (despite a slightly clunky start), but every tune here just feels really nice.
– t02 HTC tick @ 3:45
– t04 Mississippi Moon clips in
– t06 Melody digital glitches @ 0:40 (drop), 0:44 (chirp)

Thanks to slip for the source CDs!

Oldneumanntapr Notes:
These were the last Bay Area Dead shows, and the first (and only) Dead shows recorded with my Sony TCD-D7. This was my last time to record the Grateful Dead, 6/2. 6/3, 6/4 1995.
My friend Gene flew in from the east coast with his Sony TCD-D10 and we got a room at the days Inn in Mtn. View for a boys weekend. My friend Dave also came up to the shows with me.
I could tell Jerry was not running on all cylinders, as he flubbed a lot of lines of songs. We were worried about his health, and I was sad to see that he would go downhill fast during the summer tour. I bought a T Shirt from the Dead that had the Shoreline dates on the back, and I’m happy to say that I still have it. When we got out of the show there was a guy with an ice chest selling ‘Cold Lowies’ (Lowenbrau) and Gene bought one for like $5!
