My first time seeing Neil since 2009 and my first time seeing him with
the Horse since he played in Dublin in 2001.

A pretty good show although I think Neil kinda lost the crowd with the
feedback at the end of Walk like a giant.

This one turned out pretty good but don’t expect miracles – the RDS
is a tough venue to tape in with the wind blowing across the pitch.

At least this year I remembered my windscreens so whilst there is
some swirling on the sound at times there is very little wind noise.

The rain held off for most of the set but it did start raining pretty
heavy during Cortez so expect some rain noise.

I did very little editing etc with this – I just boosted the levels and
split the tracks. The levels on the acoustic tracks is still pretty low.

If someone wants to work some magic & improve it by all means feel free to do so

  • just pm when you’re seeding so I can get a copy.

For the old fashioned amongst you who still burn to disc I’d suggest splitting
after Blowin’ In The Wind.

I got this disc in a trade early this year. The sender did not know the venue in Kilkenny, but guessed that it would have been Cleere’s Bar and Theater in Parliament Street. On his cassette was written TOWNES KILKENNY. So I mailed Cleere’s and John Cleere replied that he was very certain that Townes had never performed at Cleere’s at all. He wished he had and would have remembered. John asked around for me but could not find the venue, either. Also, it is not on Len Coop’s tape and tour schedule lists. I googled a few time for this show, but it never turned up.
