From the original uploader:
At least 2nd gen tape. I’m not sure how I got this tape almost 20 years ago however I’m sure it was the result of some kinda trade. Others copies I’m sure are around. 1992 was a well documented year for Lou fans – I have 3 sbds from that year but here’s a decent Aud recording from my home town and one of my fav old hangs (The Grand Emporium).

Technical stuff:
TDK SD 110 -> Nakamichi BX-125 2 head tape deck (no dolby) -> XONAR D1 PCI 7.1 audio card -> Audacity -> Adobe Audition 3.0 – Wav file -> Flac Frontend – Level 5

This is my last Grateful Dead boot from 1979, sort of. Sometime ago I got a DVD vine that had a whole bunch of GD ’79 shows on it. I moved all the files onto my hard drive and have now posted all of those shows here. It is likely that I have a few more ’79 shows on CD somewhere in my collection that will eventually show up.

Never fear Deadheads, I also got a big vine with a bunch of shows from 1980 that I still need to upload, and of course a big box of other Dead shows.

This is probably the best sounding 1979 boot I’ve posted. High quality soundboard recording.
