This is the first recording to be sent to dime from a series Iíve called The Lost Welsh Masters. Practically every Van show in and around Wales from the 80s onwards was recorded by one diligent taper. Many have never been circulated, and in the case of one show from Bristol in 1992, the date itself was unknown to us. This one from Cardiff is the complete show which has never been heard before. A bit of talking here and there but generally excellent quality for the time. At present the exact equipment used is unknown.
Received on 2 CDRs from the taper who transcribed his complete cassettes.
To hard drive with EAC. Edited for continuous flow in Adobe Audition : edited at beginning and end. Cassette turnovers and subsequent edits audible at 42m and 1h 26m. Normalised and nothing else. Flaced with TLH to level 6.

Known Faults:
-Brown Eyed Girl: almost seamless splice
-Incomplete
It appears an audience recording of this show first appeared in 2016 as part of the “Lost Welsh Masters” series. This share is a Soundboard capture of that show unfortunately incomplete and missing the last six songs.
The raw transfer was in a bit of rough shape sounding to be from a slightly higher generation tape and on the flat side of the frequency spectrum. I’m quite pleased with the way it mastered and there is a little life in it now.
I did not add the missing tracks from the audience capture, it’s a clean cut after “What Would I Do” and has not missing portions of songs with the exception of a small, almost seamless splice during “Brown Eyed Girl”.
Thanks to my old trading partner of 30+ years MR for the files.
