Sound is pretty good. FM source and it sounds like the original tape wasn’t taken care of real well. It is still quite listenable, but there’s a bit of tape noise.
Man, I have to kinda disagree — I’d rate this one highly! I don’t even hear much tape noise at all. And what a document of Lucinda at that semi-early phase, pre-Car Wheels. Great interview segments. And the version of Pineola even has a lyric I think she dropped later on: “He was a fool to pull that trigger, but he sure was a damn good poet.” Kind of a lame line, so I can see why she dropped it, but it’s interesting to see it at this phase of gestation!
Highly recommended one if you like Lu at all.

It is absolutely great to hear Lucinda at an early period, no doubt. The sound isn’t bad at all but it sounds a little warn to me. Like listening to an old cassette tape that’s been played a whole bunch of times.
