I just saw bluegrass genius Ralph Stanley and his band in concert last week – one of my last musical heroes I hadn’t seen in person yet. So it’s a great treat to get to hear this Bill Monroe concert – enjoying it. Thanks for posting Mat!

    Looks tasty; thanks, Mat.

  2. I highly recommend these two 1966 Bill Monroe sets. You get the beginning of the line with Peter Rowan and Richard Greene that goes into Muleskinner and Old and In The Way, and from there Into much of progressive bluegrass.
