100% bootleg source. John Fogerty originally banned the Woodstock filmmakers from using any audio or visual footage of the band. Four tracks have since been released on a Woodstock box-set that came from the filmmakers’ multi-track recordings. This torrent represents a privately recorded stereo tape that is not related to the filmmakers’ multitrack recordings.
01 Chip Monck Intro/Born On The Bayou
02 Green River
03 Ninety-Nine And A Half (Won’t Do)
04 Bootleg
05 Commotion
06 Bad Moon Rising
07 Proud Mary
08 I Put A Spell On You
09 Night Time Is The Right Time
10 Keep On Chooglin’
11 Suzy Q
Apparently there were technical issues with the mult-track recording for some of the ariists at Woodstock, including CCR and also The Band. Fortunately we have SBD reels for both, the recording of The Band is phenomenal and straight from the master. From memory some of the issues on this relate to the actual mix itself and are THERFORE also reflected in this raw SBD recording.
Thanks to Mat for sharing, and thanks to DylanDave for sharing the extra info. Interesting 🙂 BTW, will the lossless tape transfer of VM’ In Ireland be posted here? Would love that!
Oh I already added it to that particular post.
Ah yes, I see. Thank you very much 🙂

Can’t wait to hear this! There are some really remarkable CCR boots out there, all of which–in my humble opinion–surpass the officially released live recordings.
Strange how that works out…
