The Van Morrison Band : Richard Dunn, Ned Edwards, Matt Holland, Bobby Irwin, Nicky Scott, Martin Winning. Guest : Bobby Ruggiero (percussion)

In contrast with some recent shows an inspired and driven Van puts a lot of effort into this show. This show has 5 ‘A list’ songs, some workshop and a few other songs that you probably never tire of hearing.

Unfortuantely the rumours of Van performing with a 14 piece big band did not materialise. I guess someone in the PR dept. must have thought he was still touring with the Celtic soul orchestra (I wish!!!)

  1. The new decor kinda hit me, like walking into an intervention. But I got here from a link on a laptop I haven’t used in month, so that works. Congratulations on your new digs and thanks for not just folding and going away, this site has become a touchstone and a place to broaden musical horizons, (even when I don’t want to have them broadened).

    Thanks.

    1. Thanks. I’ve long since realized I’m terrible at design. This is especially true since I’m fairly color blind I never really loved the old site look, but these new colors are really weird to me. And I still don’t have all that I want on the sidebar.

      Baby steps.

But the music is still good.
