Thank you. All right, this is for all the (….) out here. (….) is someone who wants you to play an old song. (….) songs I recorded twenty years ago, Now I’m here to play in person. And I am not the same person that recorded them. And they are not the same person that heard
those songs, and if you don’t believe that you better look in the mirror. You may not like what you see. Some people spend so much time looking in the mirror, then they walk away and forget what they look like. But God knows what you look like and he’s (….) and he’s got plans for our salvation, since what Jesus Christ did on the Cross. But he didn’t go to the Cross for your sins and my sins, he went to the Cross to destroy the work of the Devil. Which no man here could ever have done. And if you don’t believe that, ask Jesus to come into your heart and you’ll see it’s true. He’s knocking on your door.
Remember now, you may not be fashionable, but God will always be fashionable. I seen a lot of people in my time go through things that I do. I knew Jimi Hendrix, I knew Janis Joplin and I knew Jim Croce and I knew Lowell George, and if they knew then what I know now they’d still be here. (before Solid Rock)

Thank you. All right. Be quiet out there. (…..). Well, I know it’s not fashionable to talk about Heaven or Hell. But Godís always fashionable. And I notice at this motel…we’re staying at this motel, I guess, down the road somewhere there’s a convention down there.
They must have, there must be two thousand people just up all hours of the night. It’s hard to get any rest at all. Just carrying on, big people, little people, all sizes and shapes. Well, then they seem to have taken over the place, eating and drinking and being merry. Having a good time. Thank you. Right, in case you didn’t guess, that last animal was a snake. I know some of you knew that already. Same snake that was in the Garden of Eden. Back then snakes walked on their legs. Well, actually they still do. Same snake that was in the Garden of Eden, same snake that previously had been Lucifer. High angel of God (….) fallen angel Lucifer. Anyway when you want to meet God, that must be when you on youíre guard the most. Cause he came down and he deceived me, didn’t he? Didn’t he do that? He deceived them ain’t that
right?

When Adam and Eve gave the keys to this world over to the Devil. Well, that’s why Jesus Christ had to go to the Cross right? Not only for the forgiveness of sins but to destroy the works of the Devil.
So that’s why it says, I think it’s Romans 8, if that same spirit that raised Christ from the dead, dwells in you, shall quicken your mortal life. And you can be alive, lots of dead people walking around today, thinking they got to be alive. (before Slow Train)

You know you may not have everlasting power, but as soon as you leave these doors, your enemy is gonna snatch it from you. He don’t want you to have it. Then there’s like planting seeds on the rock. I know out there thereís a lot of rocky ground. You gonna receive the word. You gonna walk out of here, but you gotta know yourself well enough to enable for it to grow. And itís gonna die too. Then you plant seeds among thorns. And I know there’s lots of thorns out there. Thorns are cares and riches of this world. They are gonna choke that seed and not let it grow . I pulled out an old cassette just to compare to what is currently traded, and I was surprised that this sounded much better(to my ears at least), and is clearly the soundboard version, not the audience. I was also happy to see that it includes the full version of Zimbabwe as well as the awards presentation to Bob. I transferred it straight from the cassette to my computer with no enhancements. Unfortunately, it is not perfect, but hopefully an upgrade for some of you.

“The 1980 tour, known as the ëChina 1984 Tourí out of derision was possibly one of the most avant-garde tours PG ever emabarked on. This both in terms of sound innovations and visuals with the band accoutred in garage repair men suits. The tour followed the release of PGís third album which is often credited as the first LP to use the now-famous “gated cymballess drum” sound developped by drummer Jerry Marotta.

This RDWM/DB production consists of a two source recording merged together and patching in some places where one of the recordings had holes. The first recording I obtained a copy on cassette from a friend in Geneva who knew the taper but I was never able to find out the name of the taper and what equipment he used. His recording was very clean and complete. It ended up being picked up by Highland Bootlegs under the name: ëPavillion of Memoriesí but it was missing ëHere Comes The Floodí.The second came to me by a taper nicknamed ëMentschí who used

the following gear: Uher 4200 Portable Reel-To-Reel Recorder & Senheisser MD421 Mics. Unfortunately our good friend ëMentschí became very paranoid about security after having smoked a fat joint and the recording suffers from frequent cuts and him moving around from his original location in the hall. The combination of
both sources makes this archive one of the finest sounding audience captures of this remarkable 80 tour.
