Andrew attended this show with the taper, and copied his friend’s master shortly after the show.
Thanks to Andrew Faintych for preserving and providing the tapes, and allowing me to transfer his
tapes of this show. Sound Forge 5.0 was used sparingly to eliminate a few noises and gaps on the
tapes, soften a few harsh spots between songs, and add Cats. Thanks to Charles Bass for providing
the Cats Under The Stars shn to replace the substantially missing one we had.
The first notes of Cats are missing.
There are brief periods of static during Mission In The Rain.
Tangled Up In Blue starts well into the first verse due to prolonged tape flip/rewind.
All considered, this is a very enjoyable show and recording. Thanks again Andrew!

Notes:
I acquired this recording in the mid-80’s and recently noticed that a sbd doesn’t circulate for this show, so I dug out my cassette copy and transfered it. Don’t let the number of analog generations scare you – the recording is clean and the hiss is fairly minimal. All I know about the lineage is that my copy was made from a 3rd generation cassette. I assume is was mastered on cassette and that the first couple of generations were also cassette, but I don’t know for sure. Not the greatest mix in the world, with the guitar rather low and the kick drum fairly prominent, but it is a enjoyable recording nonetheless.
I simply transfered the recording as it is on my cassette copy – no editing was done other then fading in/out at the beginning and end, as well as a couple spots where the master was paused between tracks. I presume a complete sbd recording of the show exists and hopefully it will surface someday – until then, enjoy!
