  1. I had the good fortune to attend this show, and in retrospect, I’m glad I saw this show rather than one of the other 39. It was looser–like a shakedown or practice show for the tour–and it was cool seeing Bob stay on stage and play during The Band’s songs (although Richard Manuel probably wasn’t all that happy about the abrasive harp fills on “Share Your Love”). I also liked the loose “Bob does one, The Band does one” format rather than the subsequent formula of songs together and apart.

  2. Dig the comments above – great show, thanks Mat now I can finally discard my own nth gen tape transfer. 1974 – No Zep, Stones, barely any Floyd – Bob and Joni were the tickets to get, for those lucky enough to be drawn out of the hat!
Dead jealous Jim, would have loved to catch this one, opening night and the crowd excitement really comes thru on the recording. Love it when that happens, it not always about the absolute sound qual of a boot. This rec is very listenable anyway.

Mat, your 74 and 75 posts are slotting in very neatly between my existing lossless shows. For ex, I have the previous Largo night, same repair job. Will have to up some and reverse the process at some point. Both tours should be ‘filled in’ in lossless IMO
