From the original uploader:

Big thanks to Stepmo for the original upload and Spituchi for the-cover art (Thanks Enlight)

Additional comments(OEB): A nice compilation of various songs from the Golden heart tour.

The sound quality varies. Tracks 1-4are radio broadcasts with very good sound,
the other tracks are audience recordings.

Nice to have for the rarely played songs.

Enlight note:

Nice mixure of encores and rarely played songs during the 1996 Golden Heart tour.

The four tracks are from the “Hamburg Encores” a radio broadcast with perfect sound and four great versions these are.

Gravy version of “No CAn DO”

Lovely and sentimental version of “Last exit to Brooklyn” especially when Mark joines in with his guitar. (shivers down the spine)

“Vic and Ray” was played totaly different during this part of the tour than later ,e.g. more drums and a raw guitar sound.

One of my favourite song “Portobello belle” is absolutely great with the violin included and offcourse appreciated by the Irish crowd.

Great to hear Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings doing backing vocals on “Water of Love” (24th May 1996).

notes:
* Mixed with another show to fill missing part

Many pops/clicks removed one by one, mixed missing parts with another soundboard shows from 1980, boosted audio levels on some quiet parts and so on. You’ll hear the difference.
+many other improvements I never list

“Yellow Rose Of Texas” is originally just an intro to “Cadillac Ranch”, that’s the reason it fades out to “Fade Away”.

Notes from the original uploader.

“One of only four (circulating) complete soundboard shows from the entire River tour.
This show includes several highlights from early in the tour, especially opening with Born to Run, as well as rare performances of “Jackson Cage” and “No Money Down” as an intro to “Cadillac Ranch.”
Another “highlight” may be the trio of “Stolen Car,” “Wreck on the Highway,” and “Point Blank.””

“Definitive performance of Drive All Night.” -brucebase

Title: As Dreams Don’t Mean Nothing – A Night For The Vietnam Veterans

source: nakamichi cm300(cp2) > sony tcd5m
transfer from master cassettes
taper : bobb / markp
transfer: markp

To keep people from asking:
Since this ‘remaster’ is from MarkP’s master recording, this doesn’t have the cuts every other release has.
‘This Land Is Your Land’ which was missing from other versions, is complete on this one.
‘Twist & Shout’ was missing half the song – it’s complete on this one.
Only cut on this is in the beginning of “Who’ll Stop The Rain?”, which was on all the other version too. (Tried to fix it)
To sum it up, this is much better than all the old ‘releases’ of this legendary show.

‘Editors’ view: Probably the best show ever, definitely best Who’ll Stop The Rain? he’s ever played.

“Possibly the most emotional show of Bruce’s career, this benefit show starts with an introduction by Bobby Mueller,
a disabled Vietnam veteran, and several band members reportedly had tears in their eyes when they started
‘Who’ll Stop the Rain?,’ Credence Clearwater Revival’s song about the Vietnam conflict.
Bruce himself was overcome with emotional during ‘The River’ and stopped singing at one point.
This show features the one and only performance of ‘Ballad of Easy Rider.'” -theboots.net

“Only performance [ever] of Ballad Of Easy Rider.
This was a benefit for the Vietnam Veterans and features passionate versions of The River and Who’ll Stop The Rain.”

The Doors – Isle of Wight, England (08/30/70)

The Doors
August 30, 1970 (Saturday)
East Afton Farm
The Isle Of Wight Festival
Isle Of Wight, England

Track List:

01. Introduction – 0:18
02. Back Door Man – 4:18
03. Break On Through – 4:53
04. When The Music’s Over – 13:31
05. Ship Of Fools – 7:37
06. Roadhouse Blues – 6:07
06. Light My Fire – 14:21
07. The End – 18:18

Soundboard Recording

Multi-Track Master > DAT > DAT > CDR > WAV > Flac Frontend > FLAC (lvl 8, SBE aligned)

Notes from the original uploader:

For years, The Doors’ performance at the Isle Of Wight has only been available in an edited or incomplete form. The most popular release, “Palace Of Exile,” is missing over a minute in the middle of “The End” and the intro to “When The Music’s Over” is severly edited. Audience recordings of the show are missing “Roadhouse Blues.” Previously on this site someone offered a matrix of the audience and soundboard sources in order to recreate the complete concert in the best quality available. Now for the first time, we have a master DAT source for the COMPLETE Isle Of Wight concert in perfect soundboard quality. At almost 70 minutes total, this is as good as it gets until an official release gets made — if one is ever made.

This comes direct from the multi-track master recording. Quality is near perfect. The only downside is that the stereo separation isn’t very good. It sounds like it’s an unmixed copy of the multi-track master. So you’ll hear Ray’s organ more in the center than it should be and Ray’s vocals are mixed way down so you don’t hear them at all during “Break On Through” and other songs. (A good thing for some?) Still, I would place the overall quality as better than “Palace Of Exile.” Little to no hiss. Bass level is much more reasonable. Sharper sound quality overall.

One small note: About 4:29 into “The End,” the music drops out for about 5 seconds and you only hear Jim’s voice. Not sure why, but “Palace” doesn’t have this mixing

And so to the conclusion of The Beatles as a performing group (although some might argue the end really came a year or more earlier)
& all the circulating shows from their final tour of the U.S.A.

While this may be a delight for completists, the last show at San Francisco is the only decent sounding recording here (and not such a
bad performance either, relatively speaking). Also of note is the ‘cherry bomb’ explosion heard halfway through “If I Needed Someone”
from the Memphis evening show. Otherwise it’s slim pickings, pop pickers.

We’ve done our best to make everything sound as good as possible -speed correction, a little eq, and more (but never any compression or
noise reduction!) We even used a source for the San Francisco show without the digital reverb appearing on most releases of this concert.

It’s not all that pretty, but this is it the end of The Beatles live. (Unless you count the Rooftop Concert & and that’s on A/B Road
if you still need to find it!)

The tenth and penultimate volume in our overview of The Beatles’ live career brings us their brief 1966 World Tour and the end of the Beatles caring much about their performances. Still, the Munich and Tokyo shows are the last to survive in soundboard quality.

The unbooted Hamburg tracks are taken from a German radio broadcast. We’re very grateful they made their way to us.

The Disc One bonus tracks are a little unnecessary, since Track 33 is much longer than anything available previously. But the snippets are maybe a little better quality, so it’s all here, just in case you care.

36 Everybody’s Trying To Be My Baby

The ninth volume in our ‘all the good titles are taken already’ overview of The Beatlesí live career. This brings us to the end of their second U.S. tour and, unfortunately, to the end of the surviving 1965 shows. Weíd love to hear it a tape from their December British tour.

Most of these recordings already sounded fine, although the less said about Minneapolis the better. Even so, we still ran our proprietary audio clean-up system. We think the re-edit and re-eq of the afternoon San Fransisco show is the most significant improvement.

Our Hollywood Bowl Deluxe Edition has different edits/mixes, but these are the unedited stereo tapes of the 1965 Hollywood Bowl shows. (We also fixed a tape stretch in I Feel Fine on the 30th. Wow.)
