Comments:
Barebones takes with drums, bass, keyboard, and Jerry only. No backup singers or horns. Not sure if this was a recording session for the album or possibly a tour rehearsal.

None of this material appears on the original “Run For The Roses” commercial release or the “All Good Things” boxed set meaning that the versions have been compared directly and they are not at all the same (e.g. not a version with just an additional analog gen or just a different mix). December 1981 would have been at the tail end of the recording sessions for the album.

I’m fairly certain it is a stereo cassette mixdown from a reel source as you can hear the reel speeding up when it cuts in at the start of a couple takes. All fades are on the master.
