Excerpt from “Performing Artist, 1986*1990 & beyond” by Paul Williams, p. 215

In the summer 1989 Telegraph, John Bauldie quotes his friend Felix Canares, who said
he had “a strange feeling all through the Stockholm show [the second 1989 concert],
like anything could happen. I was really worried that he wouldn’t survive the show
in a way – that he’d do something really bizarre. He seemed to be so confused,
started this really bad version of “Times Are A-Changing'”, and his harmonica playing
was terrible, really embarrasing. He mixed up everything, started several songs in
the wrong places…His singing was very low, rough voice, he wasn’t even singing into
the mike…He was really drunk, or influenced by drugs.”

COMMENTS:
Great performance from Stockholm 1981, and top quality. I’ve been enjoying a torrent and CDRs of Stockholm 1981 many times,
but here’s a “silver release” of this show. Great performance from Bob, thought not as fantastic as some of the London shows a
couple of days earlier. Dylan is somewhat more laid-back in Sweden, I’d say. It’s still great, tho’ and a must have
“She Belongs To Me” that Dylan opens with, was only performed this one time in 1981.

This bootleg is (of course) taken from a torrent, I would guess it is LB-0346, allthough I haven’t checked.
Many thanks to the taper!

From the original uploader:
It’s believed the source material for both those torrents came from this set of LPs. You’ll have to be the judge for that.

These two performances are an eye-opener if you’ve never heard them before. What you get is a wowser recording of an in-shape, ready to kill you Jim Morrison. The man is out for blood and it shows. The only thing wrong here, and it’s the ONLY thing is that Jim is off mike for the first “When The Music’s Over”. The recording is clear enough that you can just about hear him, but alas there is nothing that can be done about that now. The material itself is stellar and the band is in top form. Enjoy this show, it’s a mind-ripper.
