jgb sent me this recording and wrote:
“I have two shows that have not appeared as far as I know.
I managed to go to the Kingston Ontario, Ottawa Ontario and Montreal Quebec shows last summer.
I was able to use my Tascam Dr-05 with its internal mics to record the Kingston show fairly successfully,
but Ottawa and Montreal security made getting a recorder in damn near impossible.
So I used my phone to try and record Montreal.
I did manage a recording, but I believe it is extremely rough at best.
It is a real shame that it is the Kingston show I was able to use the tascam for as both the Ottawa and
Kingston shows suffered from audience ambivalence. The audience did not know what they were there for
and as both shows went along their enthusiasm drained and you could tell it had an effect on Bob.
Without an audience that knew what they were their for the life was sucked out of the shows and though
Bob was as good as ever they failed to take him to that edge where he PERFORMS.
Montreal on the other hand, All were there to see Bob and he delivered.
They would not let him rest and he gave us a show.
If it had not been for the Montreal show this may very well have been my last Dylan excursion,
but that show showed me that Dylan is Dylan. A real shame that the phone recording is so poor.
I would like to get the Kingston and Montreal shows into your hands so that you could torrent them if you want.

The Kingston Ontario is a large WAv file and the Montreal is a much smaller AMR file, produced by the phone.
It really is probably best described as for completists only.
As I am unaware of the existence of any other recordings from these shows they will have to do.
this show was in a hockey arena recorded from the left hand corner of the arena facing the stage,
about 3 rows up from ice level.”

what I did….
I converted the one channel AMR file to WAV using Pazera Free Audio Extractor 1.3
and attenuated the set, using Cool Edit Pro 1.2,
decreasing the sound by approximately 6 db and added a little more voice.
split the set in separate tracks and converted wav to flac (still one channel), using “FLAC frontend”.
