Review as I know one or two of you like it.

The gig was scheduled to start 20minutes after the last race, and sure enough the band hit the stage bang on time went into Brown eyed girl and stopped after introducing Van,Holly informs me she saw him at the tote window picking up a bundle on the 16/1 shot in the last, but of course I cant possibly confirm that.Van seemed to be suffering from a cough all through the gig but the pro he is I dont think you will notice it when you listen. Van and His Band then treated us to a greatest hits type show with days going quickly into baby please dont go,dont start crying. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves,Sir Cliffs name popped up in whenever, Van changed arrangements during songs to keep the boys on their toes all in all it was a party type show and the crowd certainy enjoyed it .Van laughed and slapped himself at the end of thats life. The great all in the game medley followed and we were into the ending of the show. Overall Maybe not the setlist that some of us Vanoraks would have chosen but for the occasion he absolutely nailed it.Next week Newmarket has Tom Jones,Good luck trying to top Van Tom
