Notes from somebody, not me:
This is the best sounding show from the Rock In A Hard Place Tour I’ve heard so far(I’ve only heard 3 others though, but this is the best out of them all). Great soundboard recording, I’d give it an A/A+. AS for the performance, I’m pretty sure Steven is under the influence of something. Someone throws a fire cracker on stage during Lord of the Thighs, and thats when it gets funny. Afterwards he sings Happy Birthday to Tom Hamilton (but it’s not his birthday). Besides that,
the band sounds good.

The only real problem is that Sweet Emotion is incomplete, unless they only played the solo. It lists the song as being 2 minutes long, but the first 30 sec is just Tyler talking, then it switches to the solo for the last 1:30 minutes. I ordered this from a store a few years back and I got the CDrs, along with a paper insert that just said Alohasmith! and the track listing and date, no artwork. I’m not totally sure, but I believe this was mass produced. Overall, a great sounding show, that I recommend to anybody who likes classic Aerosmith.

4.Lick & a promise
5.Same old song and dance
6.Train kept a rollin’ (slow)
7.Drum solo
8.Train kept a rollin’ (fast)
9.Toys in the attic

These recordings are both excellent :

-The Fukukoa ’77 show seems complete, and is an EXC audience recording for that period, very clear audience, well balanced

-The Waterloo ’76 show is an excellent soundboard, or an outstanding audience, not complete (first song cuts in)

These shows come from a friend of mine who sent me a bunch more that I’ll post over the next couple of days.  Eventually I’ll convert and upload the MP3s, but it may take awhile (unless I get comments asking me to do it and then I’ll put a rush on it.)  Enjoy.

Sound quality is fair – decent for an early Springsteen show, but definitely not spectacular.

From Brucebase: Audience tape – First Summertime Blues of the River tour and the premiere of This Little Girl with Gary US Bonds guesting. Thanks to Cliff for the updated setlist. Released on CDR “This Land Is Your Land” (Piggham) and more recently on CDR “Time Can Wait” with slightly upgraded sound.

I’m kind of back. Home from visiting the in-laws but still about to move.  Will likely get a show or two up this week and then hit  a small break while I’m getting internet hooked up at the new place.
