lowgen4 posted LB-2899 in June ’05. I don’t see that it has been seen here since.

LB-2899 is Dylan only, so The Band only tunes are not included. There are a lot of LB numbers assigned to this afternoon date (Dylan only and Dylan & The Band versions), and I listen to this one the most. I don’t even try to listen to the evening show anymore because of the sketchy sound.

LB-2899 was first circulated with tracks 9 & 10 reversed (so Ballad of Hollis Brown was sequenced after – and not before Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door). I changed these 2 tracks to their correct positions and created a new .ffp file. Nothing else was altered.

Nothing on this date has been commercially released, according to Bjorner: http://www.bjorner.com/DSN02230%201974%20Tour.htm#DSN02380

Dylan parts only

A really nice set from Early Dylan. The sound is great, especially considering the venue, and the fact that it is just Dylan, his acoustic guitar and harmonica playing. It is nothing less than astounding that he had this depth of material and was this good at such a young age.
