Comments: Excellent audience recording from the “Ragged Glory” tour — it’s hard to believe this isn’t a DAT source. The taper must have been in a great location, because the acoustics of the Horizon (now the Allstate Arena) don’t normally lend themselves to this type of sonic greatness. Everything is well represented here; the vocals are perfect in the mix and all of the band members are very clearly heard. The performance itself, of course, is great, as was nearly every show on this tour.

This one’s worth having for even the most casual Neil fan — this tour (even though the shows themselves were short) showcased Crazy Horse at its sloppy but aggressive best.
