this is an outstanding audience recording !
i received a cassette copy from east coast trader henry G. in the very early 80s.. i wished i could trace this one back to its master… the copy henry sent is at least 3 gen up from the master and has gathered the usual amount of hiss.
.and add:— that dolby c and b( these days EQ business does its trick) —did its share in disguising the
( real-reel) above average recording once it hit the cassette decks in analog times,,
this said.. you will still find this to be one of the best 76 joni recordings..
even the hecklers are less audible than joni herself!
the claim to fame is this…
THIS HAS THE FAMOUS HECKLER ATTAC..during — for free— !
****and add that at times i feel this to be a tiny bit too fast****
