Show Notes from the original uploader:
Adele rolling through again with a big summer tour. Voice sounds great. Do wish the setlist was a bit longer, but she’s certainly committed to the audience engagement with multiple 3-8 minute chat sessions between songs. At least she’s witty and charming (to each their own though). I did prefer the show I saw on the 2011 tour, as it had less stage production and featured Singer + Band on same stage. This tour has Adele front and center, with the band in a recessed stage. Although a few songs she brings some band members upfront. All and all, a good show and was enjoyed by the womenfolk accompanying me.

Recording Notes:
This is a mix of a couple IEM feeds plus Schoeps audio. Crowd noise is generally well behaved in the Schoeps recording, but there are occasional individual crowd noises throughout the show. The IEM feeds have metronome throughout songs along with counts during sounds. I’ve zapped all the counts and significantly reduced the metronome. However, the metronome is still there. I could be more aggressive with the filtering but it would then start to degrade the music. Regarding the mix, I usually do more of a band mix, but I kept her vocals more upfront than I usually do. After all, people come to hear Adele sing, and not guitar solos. I compared to the PA mix through the schoeps, and that’s how the sound guy keeps the overall balance too.

Note from the original uploader: There is some audible distortion at the start of Come Talk To Me due to overloaded vocal mics. This gets better starting at around 3:30
into the track, and the mix improves even more shortly after that.

In the half of Solsbury Hill a group of people forces Peter to stay! Peter with calm voice says to the crowd: “As you can act in this way? The entire thing that we are making this evening regards the respect of the others”
Shortly afterwards music leaves again.

– This is an old song I wrote a while back when I was in my protest period.
I’m still in that period actually. (before Masters Of War)
– Here’s an old song right here, Tom and I are gonna sing for you.
I think it was first recorded by Lefty Frizzell.
(before I Forgot More Than You’ll Ever Know)
– Ricky Nelson did a lot of my songs so I wanna do one of his.
This is called Lonesome Town. (plays Lonesome Town) Thank you. Thank you Ricky.
– Thank you. All right I wanna thank Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers for backing
me up tonight. If there’s a better band that’s ever played with me I don’t
know the one. Anyway, on the keyboards, Benmont Tench.
On the drums, Stan Lynch.
On the lead guitar, Michael Campbell.
On the bass guitar, Howie Epstein I especially wanna thank Mr. Tom Petty,
a gentleman of the highest order. (before Like A Rolling Stone)
– All right, thank you, we …. We’re gonna sing Happy Birthday now to somebody.
Tom got all these songs that the audience always sings. I don’t have any.
So this is mine. Anyway, we wanna sing Happy Birthday to a very special person
who’s here tonight. I didn’t get her a present so I wanna sing Happy Birthday
that’s gonna be my present. Her name is Madelyn.
– All right. This song is Rock Me Momma, Don’t You Know Your Daddy Wants To Rock.

Notes:
– Poster Artists Benefit. Other acts included Country Joe McDonald, Dinosaurs and Nick Gravenites and Animal Mind. Jerry also sits in with Country Joe McDonald on Starship Ride and Lady With The Lamp. PS’s tape of that set will also be circulated.
– What a delight this little set is. Jerry sounds like he’s having a blast, including on the Bob tunes where he is both playing well and singing some nice harmonies (check out Wang Dang Doodle!). Indeed, in this time frame Jerry seemed to really enjoy these little one-off gigs … check out 1/23/88 (Blues for Salvador), 5/26/89 (with Los Lobos), 8/2/89 (Latino Sessions), and 4/29/90 (Animal Mind) for nice one-offs and guest shots during this period of relative health and happiness. I would argue that this is essential stuff for the Jerry fan.
– The recording is also very nice, the best of the several that I have heard from this night.
– Sounds like some joker blows a kazoo right near the end of Bird Song … might want to be careful for your speakers at that point.
– Big thanks to PS for taping, transferring and sharing this beauty.
