This was a band that I saw advertised at SLO Brew and I jumped at the chance to see, and record them. They are made up of members from the band ‘Mother Hips’ and feature the sound of music from the California San Joaquin Valley, Bakersfield in particular. The fact that they allowed recording was icing on the cake! I lost the first minute of the opener because my old Tascam DA-P1 had a hiccup and refused to go into record mode for a bit.
