Thanks for sharing Mat. It’s clearly an AUD show and not SBD as stated in the text. Pretty good sounding. If I come across the SBD version I’ll share it with you.

The original notes on this post came from my old, lost friend FreeMorrison. For a time (several years ago) he had my permission to post on this blog. He could be a bit excitable, exerting great praise for shows that were perhaps not as wonderful as he would have you believe. It was great, I loved his enthusiasm, but one had to temper his exclamations with a little calm listening.
Truth is I’m not entirely sure if the show I have posted here is the same one he posted. The new notes I have now posted are the ones that came with the bootlegs (and not FMs notes that he posted on the blog). I think it is the same show as there are still some tell-tale signs that the posted bootleg is from him (his notes were often written in italics and he usually included alt-artwork) but I can’t be positive.
Which is why I went ahead and changed the notes for this show. His old notes do indicate that not ever song is a soundboard, but only some of them which seemed to have been lifted off Van’s website. I have no idea what the source is but we’re gonna keep it as an audience recording for now.
That being said a quick listen shows, to my ears at least, that its a nice sounding bootlegs. Hardly “trashy”. Of course your mileage will vary. Apologies to anyone who downloaded it thinking it would be a SBD only to find it not.
