Love comps like this – in fact, if Saturday Night Live were to ever just put out a series of CDs of every single musical appearance on the show ever (it would be a lot of CDs), I’d buy that box set in a minute.
For now, these comps are wonderful. Also Mat, I wanted to say thanks for always posting both FLAC and MP3 versions. I typically download both – FLAC for when I want to make the best-sounding mixes on mix CD comps of my own, and MP3’s because they’re generally named/labeled and easier to import into iTunes.
So thank you for all your generous work and music!
Thank you for your kind comments. I appreciate the thoughts on MP3. It is time consuming converting everything and then labeling everything in my MP3 player. I had a hard drive failure awhile back which caused me to lose a bunch of the MP3s for many of these bootlegs. I’ve been going back in and downloading the MP3s (I usually still have the FLAC files backed up) and its been really nice being able to load them up in my MP3 player and have everything labeled properly. The few times I had to go back in an relabel have been sooo annoying 😉
Many thanks for your message. All the best from Verona. Luca.
Nice, intelligent compiling of this material. Essential alongside the PBS Centerstage from Chicago (1992-11-17), and of course the official MTV unplugged release. Even with the inevitable song duplication, makes a nice album. Might be tempted to shuffle the song/set order a little, just to mitigate this a little.
thanks Mat
Thanks Mat for this essential compilation.
Thank you. I’ve been looking for this compilation.
