Notes: Average sounding audience recording. Most likely from taper-section, which was behind the soundboard. I guessed at the tracking based on the audience applause. No obvious digital glitches noted. Any help with setlist is appreciated.

Obviouslly a different transfer history. This has none of the problems listed by the other source.

Edits in Goldwave: some loud claps removed with pop/click tool. Normalization to 100%. Fades.

I was out doing yardsales recently. I had the SYF hat on and was looking for some fans for the hot Tucson summer. Got to talking with this one fella and the GD came up. He said to me after hearing about LL that he had some tapes. I asked him if he knew where they came from. He said “I cant tell ya man”. I thot he meant that he ” didnt know cant tell” but out he walked with a lil treasure chest of some cassettes. The cases werent pretty but the tapes were high end pro tapes. I asked him again where he got them and again he said “I cant tell you” but it seems your folks in the trading world might like them Well, i got home and found too many treasure to note. He told me they werent always on the best dubbing deck and some had been played and were at least 25 years old (some older) but he was sure that these versions were recorded by what he termed a “dear old buddy” and official channels and he had them for years and years and would like some of them to see the light of day. More to come.

The text file is dated differently that the information in the actual text file. A little research indicates no one is quite sure which date is correct (if any of them) but most people lean toward the 1968 date.

Great disc! The sound quality is exceptional IMO, it almost sounds like it was recorded in a studio setup. The actual lineup of musicians is unclear at this
time, but there is obviously at least Jerry, percussion, & bass throughout with another guitarist in the mix on a few tracks.

Known Flaws:

A high pitched tone which was present on my CDR copy at roughly 0:12 – 0:23 of track 01 was edited out using EAC’s wave editing function.
A 1-second pause at about 14:19-14:20 on the master dt06 was edited out also using EAC.

Much thanks to Morgan Evans for putting this gem into my hands!
